OMEGA FCU also offers convenient account access at over 5000 shared branches nationwide, including over 30 locations in the Pittsburgh area. Please note that you must contact us to opt your account in to shared branching before visiting a shared service location.

 

Exciting improvements are coming to the Co-op Shared Branch network! Starting May 1, 2025, IDCheck will provide a faster, more secure way to verify your identity, helping to reduce fraud and streamline your transactions.

 

When visiting a Shared Branch, bring your smartphone and government-issued identification to complete a simple, four-step verification process:

 

1.  Enter your credit union name, account number, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.

2.  Scan your ID and take a selfie for identity verification.

3.  Receive a 6-digit access code.

4.  Share the 6-digit code with the teller to complete the transactions.

 

For returning members, the process becomes even easier. If you use the same device and your ID has not expired, you simply scan the QR code, enter your account number, and last four digits of your Social Security number to instantly receive an access code.

We know how important it is for you to be able to take care of your financial business when you are on the go, even if one of our branches isn’t nearby.  That’s why OMEGA FCU is part of the CO-OP Shared Branching network.  By sharing branches with hundreds of credit unions across the country, you can conduct transactions in branches of participating credit unions, just as if you were in an OMEGA FCU branch.

 

You can conduct these transactions at a shared branch: Make a cash withdrawal, deposit a check, make a loan payment, transfer money between accounts and more!
